Abigail Mails A Snail
Children’s Classic
Abigail is playing with her friends when she discovers a cute sparkling snail. She thinks her Grandpa and Nonna (“Grandmother” in Italian) would like her snail. She decides she’s going to mail her snail, in her pail, to Grandpa and Nonna. She discovers she only has a short time to get to the post office. She and two of her friends set off on a cross-town adventure to get to the post office in time. Along the way, the children encounter several obstacles that may prevent them from getting to the post office in time. Do they have enough food for snail’s journey, or do they need to find food? Can they mail snail in a pail, or do they need a more suitable container to mail snail? Time is of the essence! Is there enough time to get to the post office? The children rush through town and race against time!
Will Abigail and her friends make it in time to mail snail in the right container, with the right food, to her Grandpa and Nonna?
